Am I A Match?

If you would like to know if you are a kidney match, all you have to do is ask!

IF YOU WANT TO HELP… CALL! Don’t worry about your blood type , I am “O+” Blood Type. Forget about your age, your past physical experiences, or any other issues you think you may have. A kidney donation is a process that involves tests, confirmations and other procedures with extreme due diligence. Think about it this way, the doctor’s and medical staff want to fix people. Not have another person that they will have to treat.

The first step to kidney donation is calling my medical team at Cedars Sinai. It’s as simple as that! Don’t self-diagnose yourself. You’d be surprised what can be done in the living donor program with medication. Please remember that this staff hotline treats other people and there could be a delay in returning the call. Don’t get discouraged!

All calls are answered within 24-48 hours. There is no best time to contact someone. Cedars Sinai hours are Monday to Friday 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM Pacific. Any information you share with Cedars Sinai staff if protected by HIPPA. I will not know anything regarding the case. If you want to donate the kidney anonymously, THAT CAN BE DONE AS WELL!

The donation process is voluntary at all stages. Just because you call does not obligate you to donate. You have options all the way up to the very moment of operation. You can even email if you there are scheduling reasons why you can’t call in.
